1954 Genco Basketball Game (Cabinet Repair):
A friend of mine had a very desirable Genco Basketball Game that was complete, but the cabinet was rotted near the base of the unit. As can be seen from the pictures, the bottom of the case was in quite a mess.
New cabinet grade plywood was cut out using the old cabinet pieces as templates. Original panels and pieces were used whenever possible. Now the owner has to seal the wood, match the original paint, and paint the new unit. Once the mechanical pieces and the rest of the game is reassembled, a vintage game has been resurrected for another generation to enjoy.
